RESIDENZA VIGNALE
Built between 1905-1907 as the home of an Austrian prince who fell in love with a Milanese woman, Residenza Vignale is a true architectural gem. Its façade blends traditional Austrian decorative elements, such as the grid-patterned balcony, with Milanese Liberty-style putti supporting the terrace. The main structure consists of two floors: grand salons on the ground level opening onto the courtyard and elegant bedrooms and sitting rooms on the first floor. Opposite the courtyard, the former servants’ quarters boast dark wooden moldings and a charming bay window. Inside, golden mirrors, tapestries, paintings, and a refined Sicilian boiserie salon create an opulent atmosphere. The original charm is preserved throughout, from intricately decorated ceilings to parquet and marble floors, culminating in a grand staircase and elegant halls.
